Not so #lucky

Today 2SER Breakfast presenter Nic Healey arranged author and commentator Jamila Rizvi to discuss what she calls womens "crisis of confidence" in the workplace, and promote a speech she is doing at Sydney's School of Life. The speech was on how women and men use "luck" to diminish their success or failures differently. I didn't exclusively produce this show, but I did the social media and produced the podcast. It was a great show and I was happy with my social media work.

Personally, I think that there is a big difference in how we internally view our success, and how we outwardly discuss it. It is one thing to be publicly humble and pay respects to the breaks and mentors that have helped you in your career, and quite another to genuinely feel like you don't deserve your own success.

You can see Jamila Rizvi talk to Wendy Harmer at Sydney's School of Life at Wednesday 12th of July.
